President's Message - January 2024
Happy New Year! And what an amazing year it will be for CREW Greater Philadelphia as we celebrate our 40th year as a chapter.
I am excited and honored to be the 2024 President for our local chapter. We continue to make great strides toward our mission and hope that 2024 will be even more successful. I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank a few people. A big thank you to Susanne Hanson for her leadership and guidance. We look forward to her continued support this year as Past President. I’d like to extend a thank you to all the 2023 Annual Sponsors as without you, we could not continue to do the important work we do as part of the community and thank you to last year's board members and co-chairs for their continued passion and dedication.
As we move into 2024 our theme will be one of Engage, Empower and Excite. We will continue to look for opportunities to engage with our sponsors, allowing them to showcase their business and provide opportunities for us to all work together within the CRE Industry. We will continue to engage and empower our members by offering training and Member Only events to help with growth and development within our careers. We will continue, as part of our core values, to engage, empower and excite the younger women (high school and college age) within the region as to all the CRE Industry has to offer for careers in CRE fields including title, land development, legal, financial, architecture, engineering and construction. We will foster this through our scholarship program, our UCREW events and our involvement with our Philanthropic Partners.
In 2024, we will celebrate our 40th anniversary with an event in April so be on the lookout for more details. We will continue our signature events – Our Golf Outing and the Luncheon. We will also be providing more ‘educational’ type events like our Economic Forecast on January 10th as well as some planned panel discussions and DEI focus events. Please continue to review our e-Blasts and our webpage for additional information.
Lastly, it’s not too late to join and be a sponsor. Membership and Sponsorship allow us to continue the work we do within the industry, and both offer exceptional opportunities to grow your network and your business both locally and globally.
