Join us for our 25th Annual Fall Luncheon, Philadelphia's premier commercial real estate industry networking event, as we welcome over 550 guests to the Crystal Tea Room in Center City. This event celebrates and raises money for our chapter's philanthropic efforts, including our scholarships and Philanthropic Partner program, highlighting our year-round impact on our community. The event will feature a cocktail reception with open bar and hors d'oeuvres, a plated lunch, a presentation recognizing our scholarship winners and Philanthropic Partner, a silent auction, and the opportunity to connect with and hear from top industry professionals.
Our Keynote Speaker will be Chris Lange, Sr, Founding CEO of the Cobbs Creek Restoration & Community Foundation. Mr. Lange will discuss his role in spearheading the restoration of Cobbs Creek Golf Course, a historic public course in the heart of West Philadelphia that has served millions since 1916. The course has game-changing history of opening doors for people often marginalized in society and specifically by golf. This keynote address will highlight the history of the property, its impact on the community, and the efforts underway to restore it as Cobbs Creek Foundation is reinventing these 350 acres as a dynamic education and recreation campus to benefit our community and our city—and to establish a national model for golf as a lever for societal change. We are also excited to highlight this year’s Philanthropic Partner, Everybody Builds, as we support its mission to diversify Philadelphia’s construction industry and build sustainable capacity for growth among diverse businesses and workers.
Speaking on behalf of Everybody Builds will be David Gould, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), an industry-leading sports and entertainment group, with a focus on building passionate, high performing teams that strengthen our communities. HBSE’s diverse and global portfolio is centered around marquee assets, including the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center, Washington Commanders, Joe Gibbs Racing, Crystal Palace of the English Premier League, as well as a growing presence across MLB, MLS, youth sports, and more.
Prior to joining HBSE, David served as a Deputy Director for the City of Philadelphia’s Rebuild initiative, a $400 million effort to revitalize community parks, recreation centers, and libraries across Philadelphia while growing small businesses and connecting Philadelphians with careers in construction.
David also spent four years at the William Penn Foundation where he served as a Program Officer, managing a $20+ million grant portfolio focused on public space and community development projects in underserved communities across Philadelphia.
David serves on the board of trustees for the Free Library of Philadelphia and on the Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank’s Economic and Community Advisory Council.
David earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Rochester and his Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania
